"Delivery was a little slow, but everything was fine"
The package was packed really well and everything arrived in good condition. It did show up a day later than expected, which was a bit annoying, but overall I still felt okay about the purchase since the item itself was safe and as expected.

"Great selection, and stuff is actually in stock"
I’ve ordered from Chicago Music Exchange a few times now, and yeah, the selection is just really good. Tons of guitars, pedals, parts… the kind of stuff I’m usually hunting around for and don’t always see other places.
The other thing is, when it says something is available, it usually actually is, which sounds basic but makes a big difference. Just less hassle, less guessing. I’d definitely order from them again.

"Showed up pretty much how they said it would"
I ordered a used pedal from Chicago Music Exchange, and from what I remember, the condition was right in line with the listing. There were a couple little marks on it, but they had shown those in the photos, so it wasn’t one of those “wait, what is this?” moments.
The shipping might’ve taken a bit longer than I had in my head, though I don’t remember the exact timeline. Either way, it got here fine, works great, and felt fairly described. I’d be comfortable buying from them again

"Return got handled, but the communication was frustrating"
I had to return a pedal that wasn’t working properly. The return itself was fine in the end, but the communication was a bit annoying. Replies took a while, and it wasn’t always clear what was happening or what I was supposed to do next, so I ended up having to follow up twice. They did eventually sort it out and the refund came through, but it definitely could’ve been a smoother process

"I found the guitar I wanted here for..."
I found the guitar I wanted here for less than I was seeing at other shops, so that was definitely a win. The price felt fair and overall I’m happy with the value. I did feel a little pressured to make a decision quickly, which I didn’t love, but in the end I’m glad I bought it. No real complaints from me.

"Really helpful customer service"
I had a quick question about my order because I was checking my email in between making lunch and realized I wasn’t sure about one of the details. I reached out and they got back to me really fast. The person who helped me was super nice, explained everything clearly, and got it sorted without any hassle. it was just an easy, pleasant experience.
